Serving children, youth, and adults with special needs by combining "horsepower" and farm life with therapy and learning.

Located at Heritage Hill Haven, a scenic 60-acre 19th century farm in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

MAC provides therapy, learning, life skills, and wellness programs that focus on strengths and abilities, not disabilities. Therapy programs are customized to achieve meaningful goals for all ages and abilities.
Farm life is combined with therapy and learning via equine assisted activities and therapies (hippotherapy, therapeutic riding, equine assisted learning and mental health, and recreational riding), experiential learning, life skills, and traditional & alternative rehabilitation services.
Improve your physical and spiritual fitness and well-being while helping others with special needs. Volunteer your time to provide care of the horses, program related activities, and/or facility improvements.

“Riding has increased my quality of life both physically & emotionally since my injury; it has given me confidence both on and off of the horse, inspired me to go back to school to finish my degree, …and has brought joy back into my life when I was hopeless.”
