MAC Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation provides non-surgical management of injuries and diseases of the musculoskeletal and neuromuscular systems. Common conditions treated include traumatic injuries (e.g. traumatic brain injuries & spinal cord injuries), neck, back & joint pain, spinal disorders, brain disorders, post-surgical rehabilitation and cancer rehabilitation. The aim is to restore maximal functional abilities and enhance the quality of life.
Drs. Kathy and Steve Hinderer are rehabilitation professionals who have devoted their lives to serving those with special needs of all ages and abilities for over 35 years via clinical care, teaching, research, and co-authoring several chapters in leading rehabilitation textbooks. MAC Equine Assisted Therapy is dedicated to improving the physical and emotional well-being of children, adolescents, and adults who have physical, mental, emotional, or learning challenges by providing effective therapy, learning, life skills, and wellness programs that focus on strengths and abilities, not disabilities. Services include hippotherapy, therapeutic riding, and equine facilitated mental health and learning. Therapy programs are customized to achieve meaningful goals for all ages and abilities.
