MAC Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR) is dedicated to provide the highest quality, personalized, compassionate and timely medical care for individuals with physical and cognitive impairments in a warm and friendly environment. The aim is to restore maximal functional abilities and enhance the quality of life. MAC PMR provides non-surgical management of injuries and diseases of the musculoskeletal and neuromuscular systems. Common conditions treated include traumatic injuries (e.g. traumatic brain injuries & spinal cord injuries), neck, back & joint pain, spinal disorders, brain disorders, post-surgical rehabilitation and cancer rehabilitation.
The Haven is dedicated to improving the quality of life, health, and wellbeing of all ages and abilities by utilizing the benefits of farm life and animal assisted therapy to achieve meaningful outcomes. The Haven was founded by Drs. Kathy and Steve Hinderer; rehabilitation professionals who have devoted their lives to serving those with special needs for over 35 years via clinical care, teaching, research, and co-authoring several chapters in leading rehabilitation textbooks. Under the guidance of the Hinderers, MAC & the Haven has helped their son Ben and numerous others overcome challenges, learn valuable life skills, and maximize their abilities.
MAC Equine Assisted Therapy is dedicated to improving the physical and emotional well-being of children, adolescents, and adults who have physical, mental, emotional, or learning challenges by providing effective therapy, learning, life skills, and wellness programs that focus on strengths and abilities, not disabilities. Services include hippotherapy, therapeutic riding, and equine facilitated mental health and learning, and fostering life skills. Therapy programs are customized to achieve meaningful goals and functional outcomes for all ages and abilities.
